Therapeutic Framework...

The therapeutic process is client-centered, with the belief in self-empowerment of the individual through the provision of Roger's Core Conditions of trust, respect and empathetic understanding. The therapeutic concepts enhanced by the use of Egan's three stage model for therapeutic change (defining and clarifying problems, developing goals, converting goals into actions).

From the clients perspective this means that each individual client is encouraged, with the help of their personal counsellor, to identify their own therapeutic needs and to make appropriate choices in terms of their Individual Therapeutic Programme.
