Ground Rules

  1. No mood altering substances to be brought / used whilst in residency.
  2. New residents are not permitted to leave the premises for the first two weeks unaccompanied, or to make or receive telephone calls from family and friends.
  3. All anti-social behaviour including aggressive, violent and abusive behaviour is deemed unacceptable.
  4. All residents are required to sign in the In/Out Book giving destination/purpose and times for leaving and entering the building.
  5. Residents are not to form exclusive relationships within or outside of the House.
  6. All medication must be handed into the Office upon arrival, or on return from Doctors or Dentists.
  7. There is a no smoking policy in the building.  The only exception is 7.30pm in the dining hall.
  8. Group therapy sessions begin promptly at 9.am and at 2.pm.  Please attend five minutes before that time so that any variations can be notified to the whole group.
  9. Residents are expected to attend one-to-one counselling sessions in addition to all group sessions as determined by their Care Plan.

 

Clients are advised that any contravention of the above may result in Discharge from Westcliffe House.
