A Journey into Child Growth and Development

This thought-provoking and supportive course invited staff, volunteers, and clients to explore the foundations of who we are and how our early experiences can shape our lives. Together, participants embarked on a journey of understanding self and others, reflecting on the impact that childhood experiences can have on our thoughts, feelings, relationships, and wellbeing.

Through exploring physical, emotional, and psychological development from birth onwards, the course encouraged a deeper awareness of how early life experiences and conditioning can influence us in adulthood. It provided a safe and reflective space for learning, discussion, and personal insight.

For many, the course offered valuable opportunities for self-discovery, helping to make sense of past experiences while fostering greater compassion for themselves and others. Participants found the experience both enlightening and empowering, gaining new perspectives that support personal growth, recovery, and emotional wellbeing.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees describing the course as engaging, meaningful, and beneficial to their ongoing journey of understanding and healing. This course will now become a regular feature of our treatment programme.
