Nothing speaks to the effectiveness of our program like the experiences of those who have walked the path before you. These are the voices of clients who found healing, self-worth, and a new life at Westcliffe.
These quotes highlight the compassionate staff, the effectiveness of the therapy, and the safe environment you will find here:
This was the last place I expected to end up. But in truth it was actually the beginning of my journey back to a life I had forgot... I am now 12 years into my recovery married with 2 fantastic step kids and my own business.
I would recommend Westcliffe House if you need treatment for addiction issues. Really good staff and being relatively small... you can get to know other people and the staff well, which really helps.
I was a client at Westcliffe in 2006 and 2009 it took me 2 attempts but the therapy you get there is 2nd to none. It literally saved my life. I’ve always kept in contact with Pat the owner.
I could not thank Pat and her team enough for helping me rebuild my life. Pat is firm but has the biggest heart and genuinely cares about her clients. I am now married I have the 2 children I had in addiction back in my life.
Westcliffe gave me the chance to finally find myself, who I am. In this house I was given a tailored treatment to meet my needs in order to change some negative traits to my thinking, behaviours and personality.
Life changing experience for me at Westcliffe house. Forever grateful. Tough love was invented by Pat. A kind of lady sugar meets Mother Theresa. Every staff member follows this philosophy.
Success Stories: Building a Lasting Future
Our program is designed to create tangible, long-term change. These are snapshots of lives rebuilt and goals achieved:

Client B was an alcoholic for ten years and her drinking had led to neglecting her children and a broken relationship, risking permanent separation. During treatment, she developed a greater understanding of herself and learned positive coping strategies. She now has her children with her and has been sober for over five years.

Client F had used various drugs and failed to complete university. The focus was to ‘get and stay clean’ and continue his education. Through engaging with therapy, he identified his ‘trigger points’ and developed positive strategies for coping. A year after completing treatment, he returned to university and gained his degree.
We firmly believe that effective healing begins with understanding the person behind the addiction. Our high staff-to-client ratio allows us to facilitate small, concurrent group sessions. This provides a safer, more intimate setting with greater opportunities for self-expression and deeper understanding—ensuring you receive the truly individualized care you deserve.
