Referrals to Westcliffe House are welcome from both multidisciplinary agencies and private organisations.
Most of our clients have been working with a range of professionals (alcohol/drug teams, probation workers, social workers, health care providers); and we will seek the client’s permission to share information about their existing care plan.
Our assessment procedure considers recommendations in the client’s existing care plan, plus additional information gathered directly from the client through a face to face assessment interview.
If Admission is mutually agreed, the client is allocated a Key Worker who will work with them and the referring agency. Together, key objectives will be identified and these will form part of the residential treatment process.
Referrers usually undertake a 6-10 weekly review with clients either on the phone or in person at Westcliffe House.
